Who is responsible for your data
doitforme is the trading name of Isaac Russell-Hassan, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. I am the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
Contact: isaac@doitforme.uk
What I collect, and why
| Data | Where it comes from | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, timezone, and anything you type into the booking form | You, when you book a call through the Cal.com calendar on this site | To schedule the call, send you the invitation and reminders, and prepare for the conversation | Taking steps at your request before entering a contract |
| Your email address and the contents of your message | You, if you email me | To reply to you | Legitimate interests — answering enquiries I have been sent |
| IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps | Automatically, in the hosting provider's server logs | Keeping the site running and secure | Legitimate interests — operating and protecting the site |
There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no profiling on this site. I do not buy personal data, and I do not sell or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Cookies and similar storage
This site sets no cookies of its own. The Cal.com booking calendar embedded on the home page sets its own cookies and browser storage when it loads, which it needs in order to show availability and take a booking. If you would rather it did not load, block third-party scripts in your browser, or email me instead of booking online.
Who else handles it
- Vercel Inc. — hosts this website and keeps short-term server logs.
- Cal.com, Inc. — runs the booking calendar and holds your booking details.
- Google LLC — serves the web font used on this page; your browser's request reveals your IP address to Google.
- My email provider — stores messages you send me and my replies.
These providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Transfers there rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and UK data bridge commitments.
How long I keep it
- Bookings and the emails around them: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together, in which case they are kept for as long as the business records need to be kept.
- General enquiry emails: up to 24 months after the last message.
- Server logs: as long as the host retains them, typically around 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask me to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how I use it, or send it to someone else. Where I rely on legitimate interests, you can object at any time and I will stop unless there is a compelling reason not to. Email isaac@doitforme.uk and I will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113. I would rather you told me first so I can put it right.
